THAI BOXING

Muay Thai or the ‘Art of Eight Limbs’ as it is known is Thailand’s national sport. The ‘eight limbs’ in question relate to the eight body points of contact utilised in Muay Thai Kick Boxing – not only hands and feet as in conventional kick boxing, but elbows and knees as well.

Train for fitness, confidence, weight loss and effective self defence. Or, for those wishing to compete, Beastmasters Gym has produced many British, European and World Champions.

LADIES FITNESS

These classes are open to ladies of all ages and all levels of ability. They are a fun alternative to the gym, spending hours on cardio machines to lose any unwanted weight. Instead of leaving the gym feeling you could have pushed yourself that bit harder, you’ll leave our class feeling good, knowing you’ve worked hard and are well on your way to success!

CIRCUITS

We all know we should be exercising but haven’t always got much time to spare, have we? Maybe circuit training is the answer? It’s flexible and designed to work your whole body. A circuit that combines cardio and strength moves will blast fat and sculpt muscle and can also burn up to 10 calories a minute!

JUNIOR THAI BOXING

These flexible classes are suitable for children from 4 up to the age of 12. Our classes help with confidence building, encourage team work and teach discipline, self-control and respect.

Encouraged by our fully qualified, CRB checked female instructor – your children will improve strength, balance and flexibility in a fun, safe and friendly atmosphere at our gym in Nantwich. They can go on to take gradings and have the option to compete if they wish.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art/combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting.  BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier assailant by using proper technique, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.  BJJ became highly popular after a series of performances from BJJ fighter Royce Gracie in the early UFC’s (Ultimate Fighting Championship) where he battled against competitors from many different martial arts backgrounds in the no holds barred tournament, becoming the fighting promotion’s first champion. This event proved Jiu Jitsu’s efficiency and helped raise awareness all around the world.

Opportunities to compete if desired.
